Communication channels

Sending notices in the alarm system «Phoenix» is carried out on four channels:

• City Telephone Network (by setting dial-up telephone connections);
• Mobile communication network GSM (by setting dial telephone connection or using GPRS);
• Radio LARS;
• SPI Repeater on a busy phone line – «Fobos-3», «Altair», «Allas-3», «Allas-6».

Transmission protocols

The device supports three notice protocols:

• advanced ADEMCO ID Contact;
• ADEMCO Express;
• «Presto»;

Device «Phoenix» is produced in four versions with different communication channels used. Versions are shown in the table.

Control

To control this device can be used:

• Remote keyboard;
• Key fobs;
• Electronic tablet keys;
• User’s Mobile Phone.

The device uses Keeloq key fob system with variable code, eliminating of code cracking. Key fobs allow arming section (including full, perimeter, skipping defective areas), disarming and sending a call to an emergency; some of these functions may be disabled if necessary.

The device tracks the attempts of bruteforce codes, key fobs, electronic keys, user passwords, and transmits to the monitoring desk of the relevant notice upon discovery of such actions.

You can use up to 9 remote keyfobs and electronic iButton keys in each section with individual codes and separate identification (you can use and more key fobs but some of them must have the same codes).

Device «Phoenix» can be controlled by SMS messages from a user’s mobile phone. Sending relevant messages any section of the device can be armed, disarmed, made a test, on or off the relay (all functions, or part of them, can be disabled).

Protection zones

Device «Phoenix» supports up to 56 protection zones, with the possible use of the following methods to connect additional zones:

• via radio extender 5881, in this case, you can use any of the detectors ADEMCO 58ХХ series;
• via four-wire extender ADEMCO 4229 (you can connect up to four extenders for 8 zones each);
• via two-wire extender ADEMCO 4208, 4190, or a direct connection to the detectors loop that support such connection (Pooling Loop).

All zones may be arbitrarily divided into protection sections, this provides independent control of each section. The device supports up to 7 sections.

Exit and entry delay

The delay time to the exit and entry can be set in the range 0...198 sec. independently in each section.

Power

The device is powered by AC 220V (+ 22-33), frequency 501 Hz. The power consumed by the device from the mains, do not exceed 35 watts. There is also a built-in power backup power supply - battery FIAM-GS 4.5 Ah. Switching to backup power source and back, and the battery charge when the primary power supply is carried out automatically. A fully charged battery provides the device for at least 24 hours (without additional devices).

Keyboard

This device can be used keyboard ADEMCO 6128 or ADEMCO 6139. In each protection section may use its own keyboard and they can be of different types.

Control of external devices

Device «Phoenix» has interfaces for connection to various external devices - remote keyboards, two- and four-wire zone extenders, relay modules, zone radio extenders. Also, this device has the programmable relays designed for connection of additional external devices (such as light or sound alarm, for opening doors, etc.). Maximum current switching relay - 2 A, maximum voltage - 400 V. In addition to the built-in relay, the device can independently control up to 9 relay extenders or relay modules. Each relay can be switched on or off according to the user defined events at a specified time or the commands from the keyboard.

External devices power

You can connect a power supply external devices (light or acoustic alarms, detectors, etc.) with a supply voltage of 12V. You may connect devices with a total current up to 0.8 A.

Logging

Device «Phoenix» provides management and viewing event log. Log capacity is 128 events.

Messaging

Alarm messages from the device are transmitted to the monitoring desk and / or the user's mobile phone.

The device can periodically send its status test messages to the monitoring desk. Periodicity of sending test messages is programmed within the 4 ... 36 hours. Provides the possibility of rapid diagnosis, including loop monitoring and communication test with the monitoring desk.
