Detector «Boson» is designed for use in security systems to detect penetration into a protected space and transmission of intrusion. The notice is transmitted by radio to the Guard Control Panel or to the reciever.
The detector operating principle is based on the registration of the heat flux changes occurring at the intersection of sensitive areas by a person. Detector sensitive zone formed by Fresnel lens and twin areas pyroelectric reciever.
The detector can be operated in three modes - Ademco, Napco and Strig. The first two modes are intended for use with common detector radios of the respective manufacturers, while ensuring full compatibility. Strig mode is designed for use with Telemak Guard Control Panel, in this mode, the detector has an additional functionality - full-duplex communication with Guard Panel that provides continuous health monitoring and the ability of programmatically change parameters, sensitivity and power of the radio.
Operation modes.
The detector can operate in one of three modes shown in the table. The operating mode is determined by jumper, installed on initialization. After removing the jumper the mode is saved in nonvolatile memory and does not change.

Maximum range of intrusion detection - 15 m at the intruder speed from 0.3 to 3.0 m / s.

Intrusion detection in test mode is confirmed by LED indicator. In normal mode, the LED is always repaid.
The detector records the opening of the case and sends a message.

Mode is determined when setting the jumper, after its removal, mode is maintained. Fixed jumper (in any position) sets the detector in test mode operation, after initialization, the binding of the detector to Guard Control Panel and checking, the jumper should be removed.
Power
The detector is powered by3V battery CR123A. Battery life is up to 3 years, depending on the settings and the operating mode. When the battery is discharged below threshold, the detector sends an appropriate message.
The detector is designed for operation indoors with a temperature from +1 to +40 C, with relative humidity up to 90% at temperature 25C (group 4 UHL according to GOST 15150-69).
The detector provides electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with a group of hardness 3 according to GOST 50009-92.
